Glass Etching — Participants will have a chance to learn about how to etch permanent designs on glass, a popular decorative art that the presenter learned in Austria. Each participant will be creating their own design on a glass jar using the technique learned in this workshop.
Scherenschnitte — Scherenschnitte is the art of paper cutting design. The art tradition was founded in Switzerland and Germany in the 16th century and was brought to Colonial America in the 18th century by immigrants who settled primarily in Pennsylvania.
